Ready to sell your creative services with confidence?
I’m spilling all the tea.
Does any of this sound familiar?
You really want to go full-time with your creative business. You’ve got the talent, you’ve got the equipment, you’ve even got a decent stream of clients who aren’t friends and family.
But you’re just not sure if you can afford to quit your day job.
Or let’s say you’re already having a go at a full-time creative career, but it feels like you’re working overtime to pull a part-time salary.
You’re worried about bills and starting to feel burnt out.
Maybe you’re just sick of that sinking feeling any time someone asks,
“So how much do you charge?”
- You could keep googling your competitors’ prices and trying to land somewhere close to but just below (but not TOO far below) “the market.”
- You could keep setting prices based on how you feel about yourself that day.
- You could keep running “portfolio building specials” and trading time for talent.
Or, you could learn how to build packages that deliver a premium experience and price those packages for profit.
Price Yourself Professionallya virtual workshop for creative service providers
I’ve taken everything I’ve learned about pricing services and client experience over the last 7 years and crammed it into about an hour.
At the end of the workshop, you’ll know how to:
Calculate your baseline hourly rate
(with a spreadsheet to make it easier!)
Package your services
to deliver a valuable and memorable client experience
Set your package prices
based on your hourly rate, not your feelings
Working with Jennifer was probably one of the best decisions I made while beginning my private practice. She is extremely knowledgeable, infinitely patient, and delivers absolutely amazing work. I had no idea what I wanted, and everything was just nebulous ideas. Jennifer helped me narrow down those ideas and make them concrete, and she created a beautiful logo for my website. Not even just the logo, her support during the nascent stages of my business was invaluable, and she helped me find the direction that I needed.
Above: actual footage of me pulling prices out of thin air from approximately 2012-2017.
For those who don’t know me, my name is Jennifer Duann Fultz, frequently known as JDF, because who has time for my whole legal name?
I’m a serial auntiepreneur on a mission to make space in the world for creative and unconventional Asian Americans.
I’ve tried my hand at a wide variety of creative services in my time, including but not limited to:
- Wedding and portrait photography
- Content marketing
- Article/blog writing
- Email marketing
- Document design
- Web design
- ...and several ill-fated forays into direct sales
It took me about five years to get truly profitable. Now I work part-time by choice and bring home as much or more than I did in any of my full-time jobs.
Some other things you might want to know before you spend an hour with me:
- I have lots of opinions and zero filter.
- My knowledge of pop culture is firmly fossilized at the year 2005 and I have no intention of changing that.
- I spend the majority of my time talking to someone less than three feet tall, so if I occasionally can't speak like a grown-up, please forgive me.
Before working with Jenn, I wasn’t sure the direction I wanted to take my business. I was following a cookie cutter business pattern and it just wasn’t working for me. Jenn was a wealth of knowledge on others who have paved the way and offered a lot of creative solutions. She helped me look outside the box and find alternate routes that align with my personality and goals.

This workshop will be helpful if you provide services (or sell service-based products) such as:
- graphic or web design
- marketing services
- virtual assisting
- coaching or consulting
The pricing models discussed in this workshop will not work as well for product-based businesses (either brick and mortar or e-commerce) or direct sales/MLMs.
If you've got the skillz and clientz but need help making the business side of things run smoothly, this workshop is for you.
If you've been doing this for awhile but want to level up, this workshop is for you.
Are you ready?
Working with Jennifer was an absolute dream. She started the conversation not with the nuts and bolts of the website, as I was expecting, but with how the website fit into the organization as a whole. The questions she asked gave me a deeper appreciation of what the website could become, and it gave her inspiration to build things for us that I could not have imagined.
just so you know...
This workshop is meant to be proof of concept for a larger offering I’ve got in the works. Which means I may not run this pricing workshop on its own ever again. If I do, it will for sure cost more.
If you attend this pricing workshop live, you’ll get first dibs on the beta test of my business website incubator (which will also be offered at a significant discount compared to the final product). At the end of the incubator, you'll have a fully functioning, professional-looking website that you can maintain and update AND a fully functioning, professional process for working with clients from start to finish.
If that sounds like something you need, hop onto the workshop so we both know you mean business, and I'll hook you up when the beta test is ready!
